What is your cancellation policy?
Breckenridge Rental Car has a 24 hour non-refundable cancellation policy for all reservations. All reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled reservation date and time will be charged in full. All reservations cancelled outside of 24 hours of scheduled reservation date & time will be refunded in full. If the reservation was paid with a credit card, the refund will be issued to that same credit card.
Do you require a credit card to make a reservation?
Breckenridge Rental Car does require a major Credit Card for all reservations and gladly accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. All listed prices are in U.S currency.
Breckenridge Rental Car will accept Debit Cards under the following conditions. A $300.00 security deposit will be charged at the time of the rental in addition to the total cost of the rental. The Debit Card must have the renters name on the card (No single use or pre-paid cards will be accepted & Breckenridge Rental Car shall have no obligation to honor reservations made with such cards). All listed prices are in U.S currency.
Do I need my own auto insurance coverage to rent a vehicle?
No, Breckenridge Rental Car offers auto insurance coverage for those who don’t have insurance or for those who prefer not use their insurance while renting our vehicles. Please note that we do charge additional fees for insurance. Renters with international driver’s licenses must purchase our additional insurance. Please contact Breckenridge Rental Car for more information about insurance costs and levels of coverage.
Do I need a license to rent a vehicle?
Yes, you will need a valid U.S. license from any state. Renters with international driver’s licenses must purchase our additional insurance at a rate of $25.00 per day.
How old do I have to be to rent a vehicle?
You must be at least 25 years old to rent a vehicle. A $10 per day surcharge will be applied to renters between the ages of 21 & 24.
Courtesy Pick Up & Drop Offs
Do I have to come to your facility to rent a car or will someone come pick me up?
We do provide courtesy pick ups & drops offs from any home, business or lodging location in Summit County. The rental process must be completed & terminated at our facility.
Lost & Found
What if I accidentally leave something in my rental vehicle?
Breckenridge Rental Car is not responsible for any lost or damaged items left in the vehicles, however, if you have left something behind please contact us at 97O-453-7368 and we’ll do everything we can to reunite you with your belongings.
